- 4 slices of Tuscan bread
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil
Cut the slices of Tuscan bread quite large and then cut each slice in half, place them to toast on a very hot grill, or alternatively you can put them under the grill of a hot oven.
Clean the garlic cloves and cut them in half, once the slices of bread are well toasted, rub the slices generously with the garlic cloves.
Pour plenty of oil into a bowl and then dip the slices of bread in them, or alternatively wet them very generously with oil, they must absorb as much of it as possible.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve, if desired, a rub of rosemary.
Only two simple ingredients are the protagonists of this recipe, bread and oil, simple but good ingredients that make up this poor dish of the Tuscan tradition, but still today a great classic
