Anchovies pie with Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1kg cleaned anchovies (bluefish)
  • 100g bread crumbs
  • 100g parmigiano reggiano cheese
  • 100g pecorino cheese
  • 50g mint
  • Aged balsamic vinegar
  • Salt Q.S.




Put radially oil, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, pecorino cheese and anchovies on the bottom of a 20-22cm cake pan.


Go on with further layers until you finish the anchovies in the following order: bread crumbs, a mix of parmigiano and pecorino, mint and balsamic vinegar.

Una volta arrivati all’ultimo strato, cioè finito il chilo di alici, chiudere la composizione con pangrattato e formaggio e un pò di aceto balsamico.

Complete the last layer with more breadcrumbs, cheese and balsamic vinegar.

Bake in the oven at 250° for about 20 min.

Serve warm.
