Dry Albana is a specialty that closely identifies with its production area in Romagna. It is a white with an indomitable and wild character, endowed with body, structure and warmth, often capable of expressing an intense, rich and colorful aromatic outfit, capable of surprising and exciting; in fact it has an intense yellow color with marked floral and fruity aromas that tend to peach, typical of Albana on the palate it is dry, warm and harmonious, with a final flavor reminiscent of toasted almonds
The La Sabbiona winery is part of the wineries in the Oriolo dei Fichi area. The vineyard mainly cultivates the typical grape varieties of Romagna: Albana and Sangiovese, but also some less common ancient native vines. The care of the vineyard, the selection and manual harvesting of the best grapes and the vinification through the most modern technologies give life to DOC and IGT wines typical of Romagna, all the phases of wine production are directly followed by the Altini family, which has made of daily commitment and continuous training and research in the vineyard and in the cellar in respect of nature, the basis of their work to bring authentic wines to the table, capable of reflecting the identity of the territory.
