Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a brilliant ruby red wine that evolves to garnet with aging, with an intense, fruity aroma that recalls the fragrance of plum and blackberry with some spicy hints, with a full and enveloping flavor, characteristic acidity, but of good harmony. The flavor is dry, fresh and fragrant, very persistent with hints of plum, blackberry and cherry.
The Demarie Giovanni company is located in Vezza d’Alba, in the center of Roero, and has been running it with competence, commitment and great passion for more than three generations. Specific varietal choices for each micro-zone, respect for the environment with the application of the concepts of integrated pest management, appropriate pruning, thinning, manual harvesting and a careful selection of the bunches make it possible to obtain a range of indigenous wines that symbolize the territory in which they are born. The company's choice to vinify exclusively grapes from its own vineyards guarantees the authenticity of the product. Soft pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation and aging in selected woods are aimed at enhancing the natural characteristics of the grapes while maintaining their aromatic integrity.
