Chianti Colli Senesi from the Daviddi farmhouse is a red wine that comes from 100% Sangiovese grapes and which also brings our winery closer to the tradition of Chianti, probably the best known Italian wine in the world. It is a wine that will amaze already by its garnet red color, with a perfume, which is rich and pleasant to the nose. Notes of red fruit with light spicy nuances. Overall an elegant bouquet that invites you to drink, which in the mouth is rich and with good tannins. The most typical notes of Sangiovese are found.
The farm was born with the Daviddi family. Always expert winemakers, they still retain, as evidence of this, a winepress from the early nineteenth century, when the Daviddi family began producing wine in the Valiano di Montepulciano area thanks to the passion of Giustino Daviddi. The farming and winemaking tradition is handed down from father to son until it became, with his great-grandson Aldimaro, the main business of the family towards the end of the sixties of the last century. The Sangiovese vines and, in small quantities, Canaiolo and Mammolo, are grown on clayey and stony soils (in Gracciano, Valiano, Abbadia and Acquaviva) suitable for obtaining a pleasant and tasty product. This company has always tried to improve the quality of the product but also to buy and renovate its barrels, in French and Slavonian oak, in order to achieve the optimal aging of its wines, even if its production technique the traditional one has remained of its cru.
