Franciacorta is one of the best bubbles in Italy. Franciacorta wines are produced from Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Pinot Bianco and Erbamat, it is a sparkling wine capable of describing, like few others, the exceptional nature of a prestigious territory. S.i is characterized by the exclusive presence of white berried grapes and by the lower pressure (4.5 atmospheres instead of 6) compared to other Franciacortas. The varietal composition, a cuvée of Chardonnay, partly fermented in wood and Pinot Blanc and the more modulated pressure, determine the unmistakable "creamy" taste of Satèn.
The Barboglio De Gaioncelli winery was born inside the building of the same name and in 2010, in what was once a sharecropping area. The Franciacorta specification sets the guidelines for the production of wines: manual harvesting in boxes of maximum 16 kg, minimum refinement in the bottle, the use of certain grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco) and much more. Within this rigorous regulation, the winery, exploiting the knowledge of its vineyard area, expresses its production philosophy, summed up in finesse and elegance, sincere wines, very drinkable that find their highest expression in the reserves.
