It is a young wine with distinctly floral and fruity scents, with an unmistakable taste. It is born among the vineyards located in the areas of Senigallia and Ostra, in the hills closest to the Adriatic Sea. The short maceration with the skins and the final fermentation in steel on indigenous yeasts give the wine a very delicate tannin. Refinement in the bottle follows for a few months.
The history of the Mezzanotte farm began in 1925, and Nonno Giovanni began work as a sharecropper dedicated to cereal crops, seeds and vineyards, for which the area has always been suited. The passion for working in the fields, understood as love for the territory and for what it can produce if properly managed, is handed down from father to son.The tradition of viticulture of historic native vines continues, such as Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, and are flanked by vines such as Montepulciano and Incontro Bruni. The intent is to produce authentic wines that reflect the vines and the territory. The processes are carried out manually. Pruning requires an adequate choice of the load of buds in the vineyards. During the vegetative phase of the vine, thinning techniques are adopted. The harvest, carried out exclusively by hand, guarantees better control of the bunches, which is essential for obtaining quality wines.
