The Montefalco Rosso di Raìna is a wine in which the softness of Merlot, the tannin of Sagrantino and the freshness of Sangiovese are linked together in a unique way. With a brilliant ruby red color with violet reflections, the three varieties intertwine in a balanced way on the nose, releasing balsamic hints, at the beginning blueberry, raspberries, dried roses and aromatic herbs, followed by woody hints, on the palate it is Elegant, with beautiful clear tannins and tasty, great thickness, persistence and drinkability
Raína wines are obtained from biodynamic agriculture, deeply territorial. Fashions do not chase each other. They are personal wines, they reflect the soul of those who produce them, without artifice or retouching. They are not wines to be tasted but to drink. The winery was founded in 2002. The vineyards, 10 hectares planted between 2002 and 2008, are located at an altitude between 220 and 300 meters above sea level. Sagrantino, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Merlot, Syrah, Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino are grown in the vineyards.
