Sangiovese is perhaps the wine that best distinguishes Emilia Romagna, an almost symbolic wine of the region. Sangiovese di Romagna, after an aging period of not less than 24 months, starting from 1 December of the year of the grape harvest, can boast the title of SUPERIORE and is intense ruby red with purple edges, the nose expresses a floral and fruity bouquet with hints of violet. The taste is dry, warm, with a young, pleasant and elegant tannin, a wine that cannot fail to make you fall in love.
The Marta Valpiani winery was founded in 1999 in Castrocaro Terme and bears the name of its owner. Marta determinedly wanted to buy the land in memory of her husband in love with this land, testifying to the same passion for wine and oil and for everything that represents the healthy and genuine taste of Romagna. She and her daughter Elisa weren't winemakers, they became one over time, taking care day after day of the land that was the dream of her husband and father Delio to whom they dedicated their first white wine. The "Marta Valpiani" brand identifies today a philosophy of life dedicated to the maternal care of the land, made up of meticulous management in the vineyard and in the cellar.
