Durin's Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC is a fresh and young white, with a pale straw yellow color. Delicate, fresh and subtle aroma, characteristic with hints of herbs and yellow wildflowers, light honey, wood resins and citrus fruits; dry but delicately soft, savory, fresh flavor, with a good structure, continuous, with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Antonio Basso's Durin farm is located in the municipality of Ortovero where the winery is located and today consists of 16 hectares of vineyards where the native qualities of the area are grown (Pigato, Vermentino, Rossese, Ormeasco, Lumassina , Granaccia and Alicante), located on the terraces of the hills of the Arroscia Valley. The "first" bubble created according to the classic method produced with local grapes was born in 2010, after fifteen years of studies and an enormous passion for this type of wine, finding its best setting in the Toirano Caves.
